I am an artist based in the stunning county of Devon, UK, of which I am blessed to say is the county of my birth.  Although I undertook my formal training and qualified at the Exeter College of Art and Design, I have forever had a love for art, whether making it, studying it, getting frustrated by it, or simply just enjoying it!

Luckily, I am never far from our coastal regions and being happiest at the beach fuels my love of painting seascapes, especially waves - everyone loves a seascape right?  However, I receive many requests for portraits of my client's beloved pets.    I love these commissions as I am captivated by my beautiful cocker spaniel and have a love of the natural world so what’ is more fulfilling than capturing an image of our furry friends! 

Whether I am creating a portrait of our furry friends or human, my go to medium is graphite and love that is allows me to build up layers, creating textures and capturing high levels of details of my subject.  Of course, different subjects require a different approach and will always use my water based mediums when painting seascapes.
